The venue has officially become Afterpay Arena, formerly known as Qudos Bank Arena. The official name change took effect on Thursday 23 July 2026 and was celebrated with a launch event and ribbon-cutting ceremony at the venue. This marks the completion of a carefully managed transition and the beginning of an exciting new chapter.

Afterpay is the Arena’s naming rights partner, marking the beginning of a new chapter for one of Australia’s leading live entertainment, sporting and cultural venues. The partnership was announced in May 2026 and the venue officially launched as Afterpay Arena on 23 July 2026.

The venue is now called Afterpay Arena, formerly known as Qudos Bank Arena. This naming convention will apply for 12 months to support customer familiarity and wayfinding, after which the venue will be referred to as Afterpay Arena.

Yes. All tickets remain fully valid. From 23 July 2026, digital tickets will automatically update in the days following to display the new venue name. Printed tickets are not reissued, and any printed ticket referencing Qudos Bank Arena remains valid for entry. Ticket holders do not need to take any action.
