(Sydney, 15 July 2026) On 26 July, the stage is set for one of the biggest boxing events ever seen in Australia as future Hall of Famer Errol Spence Jr. brings his legendary résumé to Afterpay Arena for a blockbuster super welterweight showdown with Australia’s own Tim Tszyu.

The stacked super-card also features a co-main event worthy of headline billing, with undefeated former two-division world champion Jermall Charlo (34-0, 23 KOs) making his long-awaited Australian debut against Sydney’s Australian champion Koen “Malicious” Mazoudier.

A former unified world champion re and one of the defining fighters of his generation, Spence Jr. has spent years at the pinnacle of the sport, collecting world titles and establishing himself as one of boxing’s elite competitors. After nearly three years away from the ring, he arrives in Sydney refreshed, motivated and determined to add another memorable chapter to an already remarkable career.

But to do that, he’ll have to silence a passionate home crowd in Tszyu’s backyard.

Undefeated on Australian soil and a proven attraction at Afterpay Arena, formerly known as Qudos Bank Arena, leased by TEG and proudly operated by Legends Global, Tszyu has built his career towards nights like this. The Australian star enters the contest in strong form following consecutive victories over Anthony Velazquez and Joey Spencer.

Already a world champion and one of Australia’s most popular sporting figures, Tszyu now has the opportunity to secure the signature win of his career and cement his place among boxing’s elite by defeating one of the sport’s biggest names.

In the co-main event, Sydney favourite Mazoudier faces the toughest challenge of his career when he takes on Charlo, one of boxing’s most accomplished and dangerous undefeated fighters. It’s a classic homegrown underdog story—and a matchup that promises fireworks from the opening bell.

This is more than a fight card—it’s a historic moment for Australian boxing.
